Trigeek About

Over 10 years ago, a small group of fitness fanatics and skilled web-heads created several unique sports sites with some neat technology. With patents-pending, and our basic site complete, our site grew to several tens of thousands of users. In late 2007, we took down the original site, and in spring, 2008, released our updated, site. The new TriGeek site contains a few new features, but continues to support athletes by letting them log, track, and compare workouts. Also, we continue to attempt to forge alliances with sports organizations, race and event management, and complementary web sites. We have a lot to offer to athletes everywhere.

Workout logging:
Log your workouts, and 'diary' entries on the web site, and use our tools to report and export your data in a variety of ways.

Enter workouts via mobile device:
With your SMS mobile device, you can now send abbreviated workouts to your account, and our system will enter them for you.

Find on-line Workout Partners:
Want to reach a specific goal? Anonymously locate and communicate with like athletes on our site, using our buddy system.

Athlete Blog:
Our blog supports your workout efforts, and is a nice source of information.

At Trigeek, your privacy is of great concern to us, which is why we have implemented the following privacy policy. Collecting Information:
To become a member of Trigeek, we ask users to submit a Username, a Password and an email address. All other information is obtained via other forms (e.g. Training Log, Ranking information, etc...). By submitting the Personal PR Form (AthleteRank), you give us permission to display the information provided to other Trigeek users.
In some cases we may track or collect information about your use of our service by the numeric address assigned to the computer you are using (to resolve server problems or administer our service). We do not associate this information with any other personally identifiable information that you may have provided us.

Cookies:
We use a feature of your browser called a "cookie" to store a "Username" on your computer. In this way, you do not have to re-enter your Username and Password each time you visit our site. We do not use cookies to find out the personal identity of any user. Once you shut down your browser, these cookies expire and no longer have any effect.

Using Your Information:
We use the data you provide to create a database of events results which may be viewed by any Trigeek user. We will never sell, exchange, or release our members' individual identifying information (such as their name or email address) to a third party without your permission. Please note: by submitting your Personal PR form, you give us permission to post this data online.

Please note that so long as you are a member, we may occasionally contact you for administrative purposes only.

Security:
We use industry standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information, such as firewalls and Secure Socket Layers. However, "perfect security" does not exist on the Internet.

Children:
We only offer our services to adults. IF YOU ARE A MINOR, PLEASE DO NOT PROVIDE US WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION OR OTHERWISE USE OUR SERVICE.

Limits on Our Abilities:
Although your privacy is very important to us, due to the existing legal and technical environment, we cannot ensure that your personally identifiable information will not be disclosed to third parties in ways not described in this policy.
